My Priorities

Ensuring a quality judiciary

One of the most important functions of an Executive Councilor is to confirm gubernatorial appointments to the Courts. Making sure judges respect our 2nd Amendment right is a top priority. I will only vote to confirm strict constructionist judges who respect the original intent of the Constitution. Legislating from the bench dilutes the authority of those you elected to represent you in the Legislature thereby making government less accountable to you.

Transparency and Spending

I believe that all contracts that come before the council should be honest, open and subject to a competitive bid. I will strongly oppose any toll or fee increases in any instance the Council has authority to rule. A competitive economy starts with low taxes and fees and it is the Executive Council's duty to ensure the utmost fiscal prudence.

Defending Life

Life, Liberty and the pursuit of happiness are the ideals our nation were founded upon. There can be no Liberty without life. I will Oppose ANY State contract that funds Planned Parenthood without exception.

Education

We need a vibrant and innovative State Department of Education that meets the needs of today's students. I will vote to confirm members of both the Department and State Board of Education who respect the rights of home school families, and are willing to make school choice more accessible for families and students who need it most. One size fits all solutions are a disservice to those who learn differently.

Endorsements

Hon. Dan Itse

I am proud to give my endorsement to Tim Comerford for Executive Council. I have known Tim since 1999, when he was 13, and he volunteered to help with Alan Keyes’ Presidential Campaign. Through his high school and college years we maintained a relationship and we discussed constitutional issues from time to time. He first ran for the New Hampshire House of Representatives in 2006, and in 2008 he won election. We served together for the next 6 years. In the 2011/2012, Tim was Vice Chairman of the Committee on Legislative Administration. As Vice Chairman, one of his primary duties was to ensure that no unconstitutional Bills passed the Committee. I could not be more proud than to see Tim Comerford stand for election to be your Executive Councilor from District 3.

As Executive Councilor representing District 3, I am confident that Tim will make all his decisions in accordance with New Hampshire law, The Constitution of the State of New Hampshire, and The Constitution for the United States of America. He will oversee your money in the State Treasury with the same care as his own finances, he will approve on qualified Commissioned Officers of the State and strict Constructionist Judges.

With the strongest sentiment possible, I urge you to vote for Tim Comerford.

My Story

I'm a former three-term member of the New Hampshire House of Representatives. I served the towns of Brentwood, Epping, Fremont and Danville from 2009-2014. While in the Legislature Representative I fought to reduce the State Budget (by 11%), chop taxes and fees, and constrain government overreach into your lives. My lifetime House Republican Alliance rating is 96% and I was selected by the New Hampshire Liberty Alliance for their 5-year honor roll during his tenure.

I graduated cum laude from Saint Anselm College in 2008 with a degree in International Relations. I'm currently a commercial truck driver residing in Fremont. I enjoy reading, biking and many road trips to see the Bruins play.
